  1. Purpose
    1. The purpose of this policy is to outline the principles, approach and responsibilities for effective and efficient management of Cocco Hair Professional (Cocco) owned and/or managed digital assets throughout the asset lifecycle, and to preserve the security and integrity of Cocco's digital environment.
    2. This policy and its supporting procedures aim to:
      1. ensure appropriate management of Cocco-owned digital assets
      2. support improved experiences related to the provisioning for, access to, use and maintenance of Cocco digital assets
      3. maintain visibility of Cocco digital assets via an up-to-date central asset repository
      4. identify, manage and mitigate digital security risks
      5. facilitate ongoing asset management process improvements
      6. ensure license compliance.
    3. Definitions
      1. Digital Assets - Includes any hardware, software, data or information object or resource which has an identified, intrinsic value. The value may be in terms of security value, knowledge value, financial value or any other measurement of value as determined by the Cocco.
      2. Digital Environment - The complete, integrated digital communication and technology ecosystem that is provided for all Cocco community members to interact, interconnect and digitally operate.
      3. Cocco Community Members includes:
        1. All authorized vendors whom purchased directly from Cocco. This will also include third-party vendors who acquired Cocco units from master distributors
        2. employees staff
        3. contractors and consultants performing work on Cocco sites or on behalf of the Cocco
        4. any volunteer with Cocco
        5. All authorized affiliates and partners
      4. Information and Digital Services
        1. The IT division of Cocco Hair Professional (CIT)  responsible for the management and oversight of the digital environment and digital assets.
      5. Cocco Owned Digital Asset
        1. Any digital asset purchased, acquired or contracted by Cocco funds.
      6. Cocco Managed Digital Asset
        1. Any digital asset used within the Cocco's digital environment which has not been purchased, acquired or contracted using Cocco funds. This includes (but is not limited to) digital assets purchased via funding agreements/partnerships.
      7. Personal Digital Asset
        1. Any digital asset not purchased, acquired, owned or contracted by Cocco or managed by the Cocco. This includes (but is not limited to) personal laptop computers and portable/cloud storage devices, such as USB flash drives.
    4. Policy Statement
      1. Owership and Authority
        1. Cocco Owned Digital Assets remain the property of Cocco Hair Professional. b.
        2. CIT maintains authority over the security and management of all Cocco digital assets.
        3. CIT may assign custodianship/stewardship of Cocco Owned and/or Cocco Managed Digital Assets to members of Cocco community where appropriate.
        4. Cocco community members are responsible for any digital assets for which they use and/or operate.
      2. Management
        1. CIT manages and secures all Cocco digital assets to ensure that the operations of the Cocco's digital environment is maintained.
        2. The acquisition of all Cocco-owned and/or managed digital assets is undertaken in accordance with this policy
        3. All Cocco managed digital assets will be tracked in a central repository.
        4. All Cocco digital assets must conform to CIT standards, security baselines, periodic testing requirements and configuration guidelines.
        5. Cocco digital assets will be periodically subject to audit and review. Cocco digital assets that do not conform to CIT standards, security requirements and periodic testing may be removed, deleted or decommissioned.
        6. Quality standards and classifications of Cocco digital assets will be allocated to individual assets. Processes, security controls and accessibility will be aligned in accordance with those assigned quality standards and/or classifications.
        7. All integration of Cocco owned and/or managed digital assets onto the Cocco's network will be done in compliance with this policy.
      3. Personal Digital Assets
        1. Where personal digital assets are used in the manipulation or use of Cocco digital assets, the Cocco digital asset must be operated in compliance with this policy.
    5. Authorities
      1. Chief Operating Officer - . Remove Cocco digital assets from the digital environment, revoke access or decommission a digital asset that is non-compliant with this policy.
      2. Chief Technology Officer - Remove Cocco digital assets from the digital environment, revoke access or decommission a digital asset that is non-compliant with this policy.
